About The Role

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Software Engineer/Developer with experience in Next.js/React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and C#. The ideal candidate will also have a good understanding of MySQL, with some exposure to Azure or other cloud computing platforms being a bonus. This role is perfect for someone with a few years of hands-on experience, looking to grow their skills while contributing to exciting projects in a collaborative team.

About You

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain web applications using Next.js/React, focusing on performance and scalability.
Work with teams to integrate applications with APIs and databases, particularly using MySQL.
Write clean, maintainable code using JavaScript, TypeScript, and C#.
Participate in code reviews and contribute ideas for improvement.
Report to and work closely with the Lead Software Engineer to meet project goals and timelines.

Preferred Skills:

Practical experience with Next.js/React for web development.
Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, and C#.
Experience working with MySQL databases.
A portfolio demonstrating relevant projects and skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to work in a hybrid remote/office environment at our Wolverhampton NDC (3 days office, 2 home)

Some knowledge of Azure or other cloud platforms is a plus.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
