Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability.

Travel to site will be required from time to time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Monitor and maintain server infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Implement and manage cloud-based solutions (Azure) to support business operations.
• Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups to ensure data integrity and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to develop and implement disaster recovery plans.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, security, and infrastructure management.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure) and cloud infrastructure management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSE, AZURE).
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
